Kaiser Stub’n

Kaiser Stub’n – Terrey Hills, New South Wales

Maybe it’s time for some European cuisine. Hm.. Austrian maybe, someone suggested. Kaiser Stub’n, maybe? Off we went over the bridge to the North. It was drizzling, but, the little cottage looked so inviting – it feels homely and cosy inside. We were served by friendly staff who were very helpful in helping us to decide on what to drink and what to eat. mMm…~
Most of us had the Austrian lemonade – it’s almost like lemon lime bitter. I could have had two!

Some of us had beer – it smelled nice, with a hint of honey – well, I don’t drink, so I can’t really tell, but according to my friends who had it, it was pretty good – a good recommendation from the waiter.

We ordered some garlic bread – which were fabulous! The bread was crunchy on the outside, soft on the side, and full of flavour (garlic, I mean..but, not too strong). We were served with a small bite, complimentary from the Chef, which I have to say, was delicious!

Then, it comes… some entrees and then, the mains.

This salad was pretty interesting. Some nice ham, chicken, pate, vegetables and some fruits to accompany. Nice on the palate. mMm…~

I did pre-order this, just in case there wasn’t enough for us on that night. It is a specialty and it was scrumptious. Absolutely loved it. I would recommend it to anyone at anytime. Everyone who’d tried it liked it. Ah, who can resist a good duck dish?!

Actually, after our mains, we thought that we were full. But, still… no dessert? Um… what if the desserts were as good? Maybe we could all share some dessert?

We rate Kaiser Stub’n 9.5/10.

Service was pretty good, ambience was excellent, a little bit pricey for our pockets maybe ’cause we ordered more food than we thought we could handle (and partly, ‘cos of greed), but we absolutely loved the food and ate to the very last drop of sauce or juice!
